titel: "Bull" Smith's Ride-about 1665. Richard Smith, in contract with Lion Gardinar and Syandance, exchanged his farm for all the land he could circle in one day – Riding a Bull! The ride established the original boundaries of Smithtown. Paul Cuffee – Indian Preacher of the Shinnecock tribe, humble, pious and indefatigable, testifying the Gospel of God. Died March 17th, Age 55 yrs.
