name: RosyOne

biografische angaben: * 1977, Bienne, Switzerland. Graffiti artist. Member of SUK

In 1989, at age twelve, RosyOne fell in love with the Hip Hop culture through the music. After traveling with her family to Paris and Berlin, she started to draw graffiti and tagging "Mystery“ in the streets. In 1990 she started graffiti with nick names such as "Danger“, "Scrag“ and "Mok la Rock“. With a mad obsession she painted many trains around the world.

In 1996 she was arrested by the Police while she was taking a photo of a painted train. They taped her phone for three month and took her to two weeks prison. It started a long odyssey through all levels of jurisdiction. Resulted in 2006 in a bad financial situation and 4 month prison of probation. The name "RosyOne“ is quite new. After 1996 she had to reorientate herself. She took a new name: "RosyOne“. Over the years she developed incredible style skills and her unique world famous characters. She has successfully constructed a perfect marriage between the old and the new. She takes reference from the so-called "Golden Era" of 80's Hip Hop culture in different ways and continuously collects vinyl, tapes, ghetto blasters, sneakers, clothes and magazines from that period of time. RosyOne used to breakdance and Dj under the name "Mok la Rock“, whereby she released three mix tapes: "Other side of town“, "boys and girls“ and „dance with the devil“. In 2011 she released the book: "Cause We Got Style!“ a book that includes Hip hop posing photos from the 80's and early 90's.
