biografische angaben: Born 1890 in Chicago, died 1963. American painter. Studied at the School of the Art Institute and later under George Bellows and Randall Davey. She exhibited at the Art Institute, Illinois Wesleyan University, the galleries of Increase Robinson and Marshall Field galleries, and others. The WPA/FAP "married persons clause" prevented her from working for the project because her husband Gustaf Dalstrom was employed by the Illinois Art Project and only one member of a family was allowed. Instead she executed commissions for the Treasury Section of Fine Arts.
