biografische angaben: Born 1907 in Jefferson, Oregon, died 1989 in Shasta Springs, California. He studied at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago between 1905 and 1910. There he met his wife, Alice Clark, sho became one of the first women architects in the country. He moved to Santa Fe in 1926, then, in 1933, to Shasta Springs. He became field coordinator of the Indian Division of the Public Works of Art Project in 1934.
